Water Main Work on Washington Ave, Portland

On Wednesday, February 12, Portland Water District crews will make repairs to the water main in Washington Avenue near the intersection of West Kidder Street. Vehicle traffic, especially inbound traffic, is urged to seek alternate routes around the work zone.

The work will begin in the inbound lane at 9:00 a.m. and is expected to impact the evening commute. Crews will attempt to maintain two lanes of traffic throughout the duration of the project, however travelers should expect delays and intermittent stops.
