Why isn’t my payment displayed on my current bill?
Generally this happens because your newest bill was produced before payment of your previous bill was received. To avoid this, make your payment as soon as you receive your bill, but no later than 24 days from the Bill Date. You can verify receipt of your payment and get your up-to-date balance, by selecting the MyOnlineBill link on the PWD Home page. First time users will need their PWD bill to register. If you are already registered, just log in with your username and password.
We recommend allowing 4 business days after mailing your payment, or 2 business days after making your payment online, before checking our website. If your payment is not displayed by then, please contact us by calling 207-761-8310 or by email, so we can investigate. Occasionally payments are misapplied or lost in the mail. If you communicate by email, please do not enter your banking account number; email is not secure.
