Earlier this month, the Portland Water District collected samples and shipped them to Verily Life Sciences, expanding its wastewater epidemiology testing to include monkeypox, influenza A and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
Periodically we have noticed delays in receiving some water bill payments through the mail. We continue to work with the post office to investigate the causes.

Over the past eight years, PWD has awarded $43,500 to support the installation of approximately 32 Water Bottle Filling Fountains through its grant program. This program has been popular, especially among non-profits and schools.
