General Notice
Portland Water District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Sandy Terrace
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Portland Water District Nixon Room located at 225 Douglass Street, Portland, Maine 04102, until Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. for receipt of Bids local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Installation of approximately 600 linear feet of new 8-inch and 4-inch ductile iron water main, twelve (12) services, and related appurtenances.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Electronic copies of contract documents may be obtained upon request, contact Wesley Gilbert, Purchasing Agent, 207-774-5961 ext.1007, wgilbert@pwd.org to obtain information regarding access to the files. Paper copies are not available.
Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Portland Water District Nixon Room located at 225 Douglass Street, Portland, Maine 04102. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
