General Notice
Portland Water District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Broadway Water Main Replacement, South Portland
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Portland Water District Nixon Conference Room located at 225 Douglass Street, Portland, Maine 04102, until Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. for receipt of Bids local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Installation of approximately 1,000 linear feet of new 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron water main, 200 linear feet of new 4-inch HDPE water service piping, eight (8) small diameter copper services, and related appurtenances.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Portland Water District Nixon Room located at 225 Douglass Street, Portland, Maine 04102. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
