PWD receives highest financial reporting recognition from GFOA

The Portland Water District was recently awarded both the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award and the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).

The certificate of achievement recognizing the annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2020, is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and the Budget Award recognizes the Portland Water District’s commitment to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting as reflected in the 2022 budget document.
