The Portland Water District (PWD) is proud to announce the promotion of Greg Pellerin, P.E., to the position of Executive Director of Asset Management and Planning.
Pellerin joined PWD nearly ten years ago as a Project Engineer and has since advanced through several leadership roles, most recently as Engineering Services Manager. Prior to joining PWD, he worked for five years at a local engineering consulting firm.
“Greg has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to innovation. His contributions have been critical in advancing major infrastructure projects and building a talented engineering team. We are excited to see him lead this division into the future,” stated General Manager Scott Firmin.
Greg has played an integral role in delivering complex capital projects and implementing long-term infrastructure solutions, most notably contributing to the development of the new wastewater system in North Windham. He has also been instrumental in growing and mentoring PWD’s engineering team.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine, is a licensed State of Maine P.E., and maintains Grade IV Water Treatment and Level B3 Wastewater Treatment Operator licenses.
