Notice: mailed water bill payments sometimes delayed


Periodically we have noticed delays in receiving some water bill payments through the mail. We continue to work with the post office to investigate the causes. In the meantime, please allow plenty of time for your water bill payments to be delivered to our office before the due date, or use our online payment portal at If you notice your payment has not been recorded, or you have been issued a late fee, please contact our office so we can rectify the situation. If you get a returned payment, you may try to resend it, drop it off at the drop box at our office at 225 Douglass Street in Portland, or pay online. We are sorry for any inconveniences and appreciate your patience as we try to sort out the issue.
