9/27/16 8:00 a.m.: Due to a water main break on a large transmission main in Gorham, customers throughout our service area may be experiencing low water pressure.  Although you may experience low water pressure, the water is safe to use.  Crews are on scene now repairing the break and  water pressure is being restored.

What does MyOnlineBill mean?

It’s a FREE service on PWD’s website which allows you to:

  • View up to 24 months of bill statements
  • Sign up for automatic, monthly bill payments from your checking/savings account (Auto-Pay)
  • Make a one-time/occasional payment today from your checking/savings account (Pay Now)
  • Schedule a one time/occasional payment for a future date (Schedule Pay)
  • Sign up to view your bills on-line – Go Paperless!

What is required to register for PWD's MyOnlineBill service?

You will need your PWD bill. Enter your PWD account number; select your billing address; and create a user name, password, security question/answer, and enter your email address. You will receive an email with a “confirmation link” that you must select to complete your new account set-up. Once set-up, only you can access your account.

Is there a charge for using PWD's MyOnlineBill service?

It's a free service if you are paying by withdrawals from your checking or savings account. 

There is a small online processing fee for credit card payments of $1 for amounts up to $40 or 2.5% for amounts greater than $40.

Can I pay more or less than I owe using the on-line payment option at PWD's website?

You can pay any amount if you are using the Pay Now or Schedule Pay options to make an occasional or one time payment. If you signed up for the Auto-Pay program, the full amount of your bill will be automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account.

How will I know if my payment has been made?

You will receive an email confirming your payment. You will also see the payment deducted from your banking or credit card account statement. Although your payment has been confirmed immediately by email, it can take up to 2 business days to post and be credited to your PWD account. 

How do I sign up for automatic, monthly bill payments (Auto-Pay)?

Do you have an unpaid bill?

  • Yes. Take a moment to make a one-time, online payment by clicking the red Pay Now tab. This opens up options to select Pay Now or to Enter a Schedule Payment date. Then click the Auto-pay Setup box to establish automatic payments for your future bills.
  • No, my bill is paid in full. Click the red Auto-pay tab at the bottom of the screen and follow prompts to establish automatic payment of your future bills.

Through PWD's Auto Pay program, how long will it take for my payment to be automatically deducted?

Your automatic payments will be deducted approximately 18 calendar days after your next PWD bill date.

I have multiple accounts setup under one registration through PWD’s MyOnlineBill service. Do I have to pay each account individually?

Yes, even though there is only one username and password for all the accounts, you have to pay each account individually. Click on the Pay Now Tab and decide if you want to pay the bill today (Pay Now) or schedule a payment for a later date (Schedule Pay).

An alternative to making individual monthly payments would be to setup each account for Auto-pay. After the initial setup, payments would automatically be deducted 18 calendar days after the PWD bill date.
