Example: Portland household using a residential meter – 5/8 – and 500 cubic feet of water for one month. Charge for (Step 1) first 100 cubic feet is $11.49 plus (Step 2)$11.48 (4 x $2.87) for 400 additional cubic feet equals $22.97.
