A guided, 3-mile walk along Sebago Lake with PWD staff, highlighting how forests naturally protect water quality.

Sebago Lake Water Treatment Facility Tours

Standish, Maine

May 6 & 13, 2026 | 10 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.

Go behind the scenes at Maine’s largest water treatment facility, which serves nearly one-sixth of the state. Learn how PWD treats and delivers 22 million gallons of drinking water daily using advanced processes, and visit the laboratory where water quality is tested. (Tours last up to 90 minutes and include walking and stairs.)

Clean Water Trivia Night

May 6, 2026 | 6 p.m.

Join PWD and Sebago Clean Waters at Oxbow Brewing in Portland for a fun, interactive trivia night focused on Maine watersheds and water science. Free to attend; cash bar and snacks available.
