River Road (Windham)

Project Description: 

In conjunction with the Town of Windham's road reconstruction project, PWD will replace old (1955) undersized water main with 2,150' of new 12" ductile iron pipe.  The segment of water main has experienced five leaks over the last ten years.

April - July 2018

Traffic Control

Alternating one-way traffic will be maintained on River Road for the duration of the project.  All properties will remain accessible. 

Temporary Service

All customers abutting the project will be on temporary service while water mains are being replaced.

Scheduled Water Shutdowns

If a planned water service shut-off is necessary, affected residents will be notified 48 hours in advance.
