Portland Water District Awards Seven Water Bottle Filling Station Grants

Earlier this week the Portland Water District Board of Trustees voted to award seven Water Bottle Filling Station Grants for the installation year of 2018.  Congratulations to all the recipients.

City of Portland, Oxford Street Shelter and the General Assistance Office; Longfellow Elementary School, James Otis Kaler Elementary School, Greely Middle School, Pond Cove Elementary, Gorham Middle School.

In 2013, the Board of Trustees authorized the development of the Water Bottle Filling Station Grant program to increase access to and promote Greater Portland’s fine tap water.  This year, sixteen applications were received for water bottle filling fountain grants.
