Kane receives Leadership Award

On February 7, Portland Water District’s David Kane was honored with the New England Water Works Association’s State (Maine) Leadership Award.  The award recognizes outstanding leadership and contributions in the water works industry. David Kane is the Director of Administration at the Portland Water District and has over 27 years of industry leadership experience.  Throughout his career, Kane has been actively involved in state and regional water associations and is currently the Assistant Treasurer of New England Water Works Association.  He is also a founding member of the Maine Water Utilities Financial Officers Group.
