De-activating seasonal water service on Peaks has been delayed due to power outage

To accommodate our valued customers on Peaks Island who are currently without power, the Portland Water District will delay shutting the summer mains off until Thursday, November 2, 2017, or, when the power is restored, whichever occurs first.
It is recommended that residents who are on “summer water” attempt to find suitable storage containers and collect water while it is available.
