80% of heat loss is achieved through perspiration; without this, the body would overheat.
Water is in tears.

Water is in saliva that mixes with food you chew. (Imagine eating a cracker without it!)
Every cell in our body contains water.

Water helps deliver oxygen to our muscles.

Water is in inhaled and exhaled air.

Muscle is about 70% water.

Nasal mucus is 95% water, and necessary to protect against pollen, viruses, and bacteria.

Water acts as a solvent in our bodies- carrying nutrients to cells, and wastes away.

Water is a major player in the lymphatic system, the circulatory system, the digestive system, the excretory system, and the regulatory system.
