Become a Vernal Pool V.I.P.
(Very Important Protector)
Learn all about vernal pools: who lives there and what they do. Examine live critters, talk to frogs and toads, then take a short walk to a Vernal Pool. Limit 15.

Wastewater Treatment Facility Tour
Have you ever wondered what happens to wastewater after it leaves your house? Learn how PWD treats millions of gallons of wastewater every day, keeping our Bay clean and healthy. Limit 25. Age: 10+

Healthy Water=Healthy Forest Hike
Take a hike and see a healthy forest and how it contributes to clean water. Learn about the various strategies used to keep the Sebago Lake Land Reserve in tip-top shape. Limit 15. Age: 10+

Fish Printing

Capture. Collect. Control. Learn how to design and implement simple projects that manage your property’s stormwater and turn unwanted puddles of mud into beautiful landscapes. Limit 15. Age: adult

Listen to the call of the loon and examine a loon mount up close, as a local expert explains the loon’s life history and biggest threats to success. Limit 15.

Birds of Prey: Legends and Lore
Chewonki presenters will demonstrate the special hunting adaptations of raptors; their talons, sharp, curved beaks and wing and tail shapes. See live, non-releasable birds of prey! Limit 35. Age: 5+
