Project involves the renewal of 460' of existing 4" and 6" cast iron water main with new 8" ductile iron pipe in Hancock Street (from Federal Street to Middle Street), as shown on the attached map. This project will be undertaken due to the age and type of main as well as the high amount of leaks. This project is in conjunction with Middle Street, Gilman Street, and A Street water main replacements.
