Project involves the renewal of 1520' of existing 6" cast
iron
water main with new 8" ductile iron. The location of this
project is on Vannah Avenue from Clifton Street to Forest Avenue, as shown on the attached map. This
project will be undertaken due to the age and type of main as well
as the high amount of leaks on this
segment of cast iron pipe. The construction on this
project will occur prior to the Maine Department
Of Transportation planned
paving of Vannah Avenue.
